Campaign Overview:
Due to the challenging economic situation in Lebanon and the world, we are dedicated to providing scholarships for the children of our community. This year, we secured 21 school scholarships and 4 university scholarships. These scholarships were allocated to prestigious institutions such as Al-Qalbain Al-Aqdasain School, Holy Family School, Al-Wardeyah School, Holy Communion School, and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik.
The average cost per student ranges from $1,000 to $1,500 for school and from $3,000 to $5,000 for university. Your support allows these young students to continue their education and pursue their dreams, despite the financial obstacles.
Religious Culture Center:
The Religious Culture Center was founded in 1996 in Deir Maad and later moved to Saint Jean Marc in Jbeil in 2001 under the request of Father John Wahbah. The center offers a curriculum divided into three years, with students studying six subjects annually. After three years, students present an applied project in the fourth year to receive the “Religious Culture Center Diploma,” recognized by the Episcopal Committee, which qualifies them to become Christian education teachers.
Teachers & Lectures:
The center employs six teachers annually, with ten teachers rotating over the three-year program. Additionally, throughout the year, a series of lectures is offered by four experienced lecturers. Many of our educators also teach at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, ensuring high-quality religious education for our students
Future Aspirations:
Our vision is to transform the Religious Culture Center into a cultural beacon in Jbeil, organizing cultural, social, and art exhibitions, as well as trips to Lebanese, Christian, and Maronite heritage sites. By fostering education and culture, we aim to preserve and celebrate the rich history of our faith and heritage.
